Hey, anybody have a car charger for the DAC that they don't need anymore?
2  Neuros OSD / Neuros OSD - Tips, Tricks, and Hacks / Is there a way to use playlists (M3U) on the OSD? on: May 06, 2015, 10:14:00 am
I can use M3U playlists on my PC to play movies.  Can you use an M3U playlist on the OSD to play movies?  What is the letter for a USB hard drive connected to an OSD?

I've typed up  a .txt file with all of the path/file name info on my PC and saved it as .M3U.  All of the files referenced are currently on drive C: on the computer.  It works on the PC but if the USB drive on the OSD has a different letter I would need to change that.

Also, is there a way to make a playlist directly on the OSD?

You can try taking the "brain" off and snapping it back on.  If that doesn't work, I believe the button combination you were referring to is 1 + 5 + the power/play button.  If none of that works, it's probably the battery...

I know that for M3U playlists, if you open the file as a text document you can wipe out a line if you want to...
7  Neuros Digital Audio Computer / Neuros Digital Audio Computer - Feedback & Discussion / What does 2tb memory cards mean for the future of mp3 players? on: November 12, 2010, 10:47:23 am
Sony, SanDisk announce plans for 2TB Memory Sticks, high-speed Memory Stick HG Micro.  http://www.engadget.com/2009/01/08/sony-sandisk-announce-plans-for-2tb-memory-sticks-high-speed-m/

2tb would be amazing in a new DAC III.  I would never have to worry about running out of room...  Plus the ability to make the Neuros smaller.
8  Neuros OSD / Neuros OSD - I need help! / Re: Bookmarks on: September 22, 2010, 11:30:52 am
That is correct.  The question is probably moot anyways, because I will probably end up splitting the files with a video editing program.  But I was just wondering.  Thanks

During playback, if you press the "xi" button there is an option to create a bookmark.  If you press the "xi" button again there will be an option to skip to bookmark 1, bookmark 2, etc..   I was wondering if I can rename these bookmarks.

I'll take a lack of response as a "no".

I'm probably not the first person to ask this, but I wasn't able to find the answer that I am looking for in the forum.

I have copied a DVD (AC/DC - "Family Jewels") to my OSD.  Is there a way to create bookmarks, and then rename my bookmarks with the individual video titles?
13  Neuros OSD / Neuros OSD - Feedback and Discussion / Parental Controls on: July 06, 2010, 10:18:30 am
Is there a way to set parental controls or maybe a password for certain files?  I want to be able to store everything on my OSD but don't want my kids to have access to everything...
14  Neuros OSD / Neuros OSD - Feedback and Discussion / What is the difference between OSD and Wherever TV? on: April 20, 2010, 02:50:02 pm
What is the difference between OSD and Wherever TV?  Does Wherever TV have the same ability to record and view internet video?

Wherever TV
