Adding time stamp to video

Hi folks,

Has anyone managed this yet on the OSD?

All I wish to do is add a time stamp of time watermark to the recordings so when somebody is watching the video replay they will know the exact time an event might happen (i.e the real time the video was taken). Obviously it can be worked out by looking at file length and when the file started but this very confusing and errors happen easily.

All I want to do is get the time on the screen for playback in a format like 19:00:23 or 7:00:23pm or whatever
