I got this old MP3 player that I can get to power up.  I remember having the problem before with in the past - long ago and I use to have to do some kinda of button combination to get it to power up.  Anyone have those details?

Hi,

I think this is the user guide... http://ec1.images-amazon.com/media/i3d/01/A/man-migrate/MANUAL000020942.pdf

Best wishes,

Rick.

You can try taking the "brain" off and snapping it back on.  If that doesn't work, I believe the button combination you were referring to is 1 + 5 + the power/play button.  If none of that works, it's probably the battery...

Down + Play forces the unit to power off, even if locked up.
