Over 6 months ago my interest in the Neuros was very high, Couldn't wait for its release. Finally after mush procrastination I went for the only other linux alternative, the PMA430. Little more pricier than the Neuros but at the end of the day I have had over 6 months use out of it.  Its also been hacked and updated linux and boot is obtainable from here

http://www.pointlisse.com/PMA430/
and
http://www.openpma.org/

Quite an impressive little player. Very good codec support (ac3 only killer at the moment) and very wide range of software included auto installers over the net.

Have a look.

Well like i said before, we discontinued the 442, so its not longer available.  As of the  moment we are concentrating on the Neuros OSD.
