I bought a neuro recorder 1 months ago (with a Transcend SD 2go 150x) to record from a helmet camera.
I have two problems due to power on/off limitation :
- The first one is an enhancement that I need : when the NR is 5v plugged-in, it automatically turns on.
Currently I have to push the power on button of the remote control to turn on the NR. Next the NR that is connected to my helmet camera could start a recording session. By this way I just need only one switch to start to record.
- The second one is due to the way that the NR saves file on SD card: when the 5v power is turned off during a recording session, the current mp4 file is corrupted and I cannot read it : I'm currently looking for a solution but it seems to be difficult. Users of the sandisk v-mate seem to have the same problem :

I read on this forum that the neuro team works hardly on the osd neuro. That is great since I think the open source is the best way to develop a good product. I only don't understand why the sources of the NR firmware are not available ? I think an open source community around NR could enhance it quickly (and by this way raises the sells of this product ;-)
