Hi
Thanks for the info, I have a helmet cam and want to hook it up to my Neuros 2 I have the connection thing figured out what I was wondering is how do you tell if its working when you turn it on to record before you race, currently I use my camcorder and can look in the camera to ensure its working.
Thanks again.
The way I do it is before I go out on the track:
1) Connect to the power (green LED)
2) Press {Power On} on the remote (LED still green)
3) Wait 3-5 second to let Neuros bootup
4) Press the {Record Button} on the remote. Note the LED will be red if it is recording, otherwise the may be a problem with the memory card (full or not compatible format).
5) After your run session take the remote and press the {Record Button} again to stop recording and then press the {Power Off} button.
VORSICHT: If you turn off the Neuros or unplug it without pressing stop recording, the last recording will be lost.
It is so much easier than dealing with Video Recorder and Tapes. No waiting to importing the DV movie, just plug in the SD/CF card reader into your computer and copy the files over.
This reminds me, if you run Mac OS X, the VLC player plays the Mpeg4 files much smoother than the Quicktime Player.
Hope this helps.
