I use my 30GB NII for recording oral histories. Early on I found the synchronization software cumbersome and settled on simply copying and pasting my recordings to my PC hard drive via Explorer.

While Explorer shows the Neuros memory about half full, over time the Memory icon on the Neuros screen has gradually filled up and now shows the Memory is full. Attempting to make a recording brings up an alert message that the Memory is full and recording is terminated.

Not finding anything similar to this on the forums I tried reinstalling the firmware (2.28)?with no results. Not surprisingly, removing 5GB of files from the Neuros via Windows XP Explorer has no effect on the Neuros showing its Memory as full.

Help!

Thanks,

KMerrell

A followup: I backed up all the files from the NAC then reformatted the hard drive. Works like a charm.
